Disclaimer

This disclaimer is written due to an increasing number of complaints I’ve been getting on old posts. Now my lurkers/trolls can have a page all to themselves.

So here it is: this is my blog. I won’t ever delete something you write, no matter how offensive it is, or how much of a jerk-off I think you are. Spammers will be deleted, but that’s different. I appreciate your views. I encourage you to comment on any and all posts regarding the content, my tone, my haircut, whatever. I welcome it all.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to agree with you. That doesn’t mean you should expect me to change something you want changed. That doesn’t mean I’m going to appreciate such “subtle” or “intelligent” insults such as “get some street smarts” or “Here’s hoping for a more thoughtful blog. So far, you’re only catching air with everyone who’s not part of the choir” [I especially enjoyed the last one as he had just scolded me for insulting Santorum]. I’m going to respond to you, and I’m likely not going to apologize for my commentary unless I feel it was, indeed, over the top. If you aren’t going to stick around to discuss it with me, you don’t like my tone… well hey, there are thousands of blogs, many of which are better than mine, thousands of forums to have open discussions and debates. If you want you can stick around, and I’d prefer it if you did. But I’m not your owner, and you’re not mine; if you get upset because I don’t bend to meet your requests, then maybe it’d be best for you to go.

With regards to inaccurate content… I’m not a news blog. I’m not Markos, or Atrios, or John at Americablog, or any of the other good, newsy blogs. I’m not going to go through each and every entry and fix incorrect and inaccurate material. If you point it out to me, I will fix it, along with a new post explaining the correction.

So here you go: a constant Open Thread. If you have complaints about something that was posted months ago, post it here where all of my readers can see it. Most people aren’t looking at posts I made in July.
