Holy fucking shit. What the FUCK?! In a 5-4 decision, the Court basically says that using race as a determinant to keep schools desegregated is discriminatory. What these school districts were doing was keeping all the schools in their jurisdiction integrated by overriding some students’ preferred school and assigning them to a second or third option that would have the schools reflect the community at large. And this is discrimination? Fuck that motherfucking goddamned bullshit. KRATS [Kennedy, Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Scalia] can go to hell. They are vile little men.
Oh and anyone who voted for Bush or Nader in 2000 or 2004 can fuck off. You are responsible for this and every other action taken by Bush in the past 6+ years. We will not let you forget that.

Yeah, that was a quick 6 weeks eh? I’m dropping my support for Gravel. Between the “English should be the official language of the U.S.” hand-raise, his crazy-ass tax policy, his “National Initiative”, his social security babbling, and his agreeing to go to a debate sponsored by Fox News [which has been rightly boycotted by the rest of the party], his youtube ad or whatever… just… what the fuck. His Q2 numbers will be coming out soon as well, and it’ll be interesting to see how little money he got. I know, money isn’t everything, but the major Dems were able to rake in several millions in small, non-corporate donations. If Gravel really has a base of small donors, he should bring in some money. I don’t think he will. Besides, I’ve got to focus on beating Hillary in the primaries. Supporting Gravel won’t do that. If you want to, be my guest. More power to you, even. Just don’t count me in.

I found a site that rates your blog based on MPAA standards. Guess what I got?

I don’t think I linked to his work enough, but I was stunned and saddened by the announcement that blogger Steve Gilliard has passed away. He was 41 years old. I read his blog, though probably not enough, and he was always one with a unique voice and view on issues both political and personal; you could tell he had a kind heart. My condolences to his family and friends.
