Abstinence-Only Education Is Worthless

April 14th, 2007 by Steve

Not exactly news, except this time we’ve got the data to prove it. I recommend reading the whole post, but what jumps out at me are the charts.

As is explained in the report, the blue represents youth who had abstinence-only education, while the white represents those who had NO sex education. It really is nothing more than a colossal waste of resources in order to appease crazy anti-sex godbags.

UPDATE: I provide the rage, Jon Swift provides the ‘conservative’ viewpoint. It’s not satire if it’s true…

Thank you! We need more proof that abstinance only education produces teenage pregnancies. I can’t believe people support it. People should educate their children about sex and protection. but so many parents don’t, i don’t think one sex ed class will help teenage kids either. but one sex ed class about abstinance only education will only make matters worse.
Teenage kids will be sexually active, they just will give them a parachute or let them fall. The same people supporting abstinance only education are pro-life, seems to be kind of a fuck you, to the youth of this country, uneducated how do they expect teens to make the right choices.

    Thanks.
