Like Dr. Evil, we seem to have caught conservatives trying far too hard to prove they’re cool, with laughable results. A list of the top 50 conservative rock songs? This should be fun. Let’s read further. Read the rest of this entry »

So the Enron verdit is finally in! How much money says Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling get pardoned? Probably right before Bush is going out. Seriously, watch it happen.

“If this were a dictatorship it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I’m the dictator.” ~ George W. Bush
And I urge you to watch this video of Jonathan Turley on “Countdown” talking about the adminstration’s stance on prosecuting journalists.

Bush now only has positive approval in three states; Idaho [+7%], Utah [+5%], and Wyoming [+1%], according to the latest SUSA poll. His weighted rating is 31%. In PA, it’s terrible; -42%. Let’s tie Weldon to Bush and get Sestak elected to represent us.

Yesterday was the PA Primaries. Bob Casey, Jr. won, as expected. Damn.
In about 6 months we have the general elections. While obviously I will be supporting Casey over Santorum, there are more elections going on here. Mostly concerning the State Legislature.
Our state representatives and senators, for the unitiated, aren’t exactly the greatest. In fact, they’re downright atrocious. Thus, I’d like to make mention of the person running in opposition to Mario Civera in my legislative district [164th]: Casey Roncaglione.
Expect to hear more on this blog [and of course on his] in the coming months. Best of luck to Casey!

So it’s official: all the conservative apologists who blabbered on and on about how the law-breaking FISA-less eavesdropping was only targetting suspected terrorists were full of shit. Apparently the record of every call you’ve made has been handed over by your telephone provider to the executive branch. The Rude Pundit wants Congressional Republicans to personally hand over their phone records to the White House in a public way. I’ve got an even better idea.
If you really think this program is not only necessary, but actually legal, and you have no problem with perfect strangers having access to all your calls, then you should have no problem posting your phone records on your blog; or even better, sending them to me personally. Leave them in the comments here. After all, you shouldn’t be afraid if you’ve got nothing to hide.
p.s. The Rude Pundit is funny:
The Rude Pundit would like to tell the National Security Agency that all those calls he made to “Burqa Babes” and “Muslim She-Males With Big Tits and Big Dicks” were not for research or to support terrorism. They were for masturbation.
If you should contact them, tell Maisa the Rude Pundit sends her/him lots of love and lotion.
Classic.

This is not a drill; repeat, this is not a drill!
Let the rampant speculation and breaking of the internets BEGIN!
Nobody saw it coming. Halo 3! Who knew? For the last year or two, people have speculated about what our next project was and surprisingly, in all that time, not a single person guessed that it would be Halo 3. Not one.
We declare it the best kept secret ever.
They’re so funny

Jimmy Carter said the greatest moment of his presidency was the Camp David negotiations. Bill Clinton said it was the resolution of the Kosovo crisis.
George W. Bush says it was when he caught a big perch out on his lake. You know what? He’s probably right.
p.s. He lied about the size of the perch.

Seriously… the debate over if the national anthem should be sung in spanish is the stupidest debate I have ever heard and it stems from racism. There I said it! Racism. Stupidest fucking debate I’ve heard.
