Hey Mike, Check This!

July 28th, 2005 by Steve

I always enjoy reading things that I’m familiar with. So it was interesting today that while I was perusing the blogsphere I came across this article on the superb scientific blog Pharyngula. It discusses one of the things Feynman discusses in his one story found in Surely You’re Joking Mr. Feynman! Here’s my favorite excerpt:

Clearly, that swift insight means I’m smarter than Richard Feynman. Of course, it also means that ants are simpler than Feynman expected, and my superiority is based on my ability to think more like an ant than Feynman, which does sort of diminish the accomplishment.

Heh heh heh.

So what does the man who promised to restore “integrity” to the White House do when his approval ratings drop and the media starts [finally] hounding him? Flip ‘em off, of course! Unbelievable, the hypocrisy of this administration. “Moral and family values” president my ass!

UPDATE: as has been noticed elsewhere [including the link above], that is apparently not the President’s middle finger [as it definitely appears to be], but his thumb. If you freeze-frame it and watch it frame-by-frame, you can see this as he brings his hand down.

Hey, it wouldn’t have been the first time he’s done it.
