My attempt at wishing everyone a Happy Holidays!

December 22nd, 2004 by Steve

Merry Christmas! I hope you had a Happy Hanukkah! Happy (belated) Winter Solstice! Did you remember to recognize the Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha? Happy (belated) Diwali! Hope you had a happy Bodhi Day! Don’t forget to celebrate the Birthday of Guru Gobind Singh! Happy Kwanza! And I’m sorry, but I can’t find updated info on which holy month it is for Islam right now, but I’ll add that when I get home! And Happy New Years!

If I forgot your religious holiday, and you can cite sources, please notify me and I will add it! Most of all, enjoy your time with loved ones (if you can)!

Umm…what about Kwanzaa, are you racist or something?

  2. Steve Says:

didn’t I include it? I did in my original draft. *runs a quick scan* ah shit, I musta removed it. Adding it now.

  3. Eugene Says:

Phew, good thing I caught that.

  4. Dave Says:

You forgot the Japanese! Oseibo- the season of gift-giving! And if I remember correctly, the present emperor has his birthday in December as well (which is a national holiday).

  5. Steve Says:

    thank you dave!

  6. Dave Says:

I would just like to comment now that your blog is oddly named. “Steve Mann.” At least make it “Steve Mann’s Blog.”

  7. mikeXstudios Says:

Duh, because it *is* Steve Mann. The flesh and bones version is just the agent.

  8. Steve Says:

Actually, my title is something else (I forget what, I’ll have to check), but despite my (admittedly lackluster) efforts, I can’t make my blog display the title. Mike, I think I brought this up once to you. Could you fix that?

  9. mikeXstudios Says:

Here’s how you change your title:
    1. Login
    2. Click Options
    3. Change the title
    4. Click Save Changes

  10. Justin Says:

Maybe it’s just me… but I think that if Steve couldn’t figure out to “Save Changes” he has a serious problem.

  11. Steve Says:

alright alright, geesh, I fixed it. Now how do I get my tagline to display?

  12. mX Says:

I would need to hack the code just a bit..

(which I’ll do when I have time)

  13. Eugene Says:

My blog is named “Eugene Marinelli,” and it’s probably the best blog that I know of. http://www.xanga.com/eugene3

  14. mikeXstudios Says:

Wait, so are you the blog, or is the blog you? (To Eugene)

    Anyway Steve, I performed an upgrade on your spam protection on your blog today. Let’s hope it works out well ^^;

  15. Steve Says:

it damn well better :-p j/k mike, you do a really nice job with this. Thanks.

  16. Eugene Says:

    Hey steve,

I’m trying to disassociate my xanga from my full name on google, and my last comment on this post is a direct link between the two (in retrospect it was a stupid thing to do…). Can you please delete it and this one? Thanks.

  17. Michael Says:

Wait, Euge, did you mean this Xanga blog: Eugene Marinelli?

  18. Steve Says:

lmao! mike that was just mean.
