No, that’s not a joke. The DHS is warning us that terrorists will use laser pointers to blind pilots on approach, even though “lasers are not proven methods of attack”. How much do we pay those people again?
Our second story is, perhaps, even more ridiculous: FCC is, for indecency, investigating the opening ceremonies of the 2004 Summer Olympics
Apparently, the FCC received numerous complaints and has asked NBC for the tapes so they can conduct an investigation. Who wants to bet all of the complaints came from the group responsible for 99.8% of all complaints this year?
