The nominated replacement for Secretary of Homeland Security is former NYC police chief Bernard Kerik. His most recent job was handling domestic security in Iraq during the summer of 2003. In a Newsday article in October, 2003, Kerik is quoted as saying that “Political criticism is our enemies’ best friend.” It’s good to know that the Bush Administration respects me and the other 49% of the country…
