September 3rd, 2004 by Steve

ok, pop quiz time! Time to complete the sentence using the multiple choice answers below. Please rank them from most-logical to most-illogical.

“Now, at the same time young Americans are dying in the sands of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan,

ok, now think about it. done thinking? here are your options.

a. we must engage in a real and meaningful debate regarding our realistic goals and direction in the conduct of this war.”

b. we must ask ourselves if we are heading the right direction in this war.”

c. our nation is beginning to ask if their government has lied to them and lose their trust in their leaders.”

d. our nation is being torn apart and made weaker because of the Democrats’ manic obsession to bring down our commander in chief.”

Still thinking? ok I’ll give you more time.

Need more time? Sure thing. Keep scrolling for the answers!

The correct order would be a, b, c, and d. Yeah, cheesy. A would be a very logical, as well as meaningful, sentence. B is solidly logical. C is logical, but has an obvious agenda to it (unless followed by some sort of “But I promise to America, your leaders are doing their best to protect you and our soldiers.”). D lacks any sort of critical thinking, or thinking period. Naturally, that is what conservative Southern Democrat Zell Miller said in support of President Bush Wednesday night. I think it speaks for itself that while men and women are dying in a war of choice (iraq) and in a war lacking resources because of the former war (afghanistan), Miller is blaming the people critical of the leader who got us into these regions for their deaths. Despicable.
